This is Black Label presented by RBG Carnival. Our section is a nod to the scotch brand we greatly enjoy, as well as an invitation to explore the meaning of the label “Black” in reference to people of the African Diaspora. In our 2023 portrayal we choose to claim it and highlight the attributes of power, refinement, and royalty- just like our drink of choice. We hope that our portrayal will be both inspiring and thought-provoking, and we look forward to sharing it with you.

RBG Carnival
RBG Carnival is the name we chose to highlight our passion for celebrating Pan African culture within the Caribbean Carnival experience. "RBG" being an acronym representing the colors of Pan African Flag; Red, Black, & Green. A symbol that connects African diaspora cultures throughout the world and through time. RBG Carnival offers a unique carnival experience by creating a place for unapologetically celebrating Pan African pride along with national and regional pride by our revelers. Euphoric energy, vibrant colors, and non-stop soca music are on full display as we take over Miami Carnival this october. Come celebrate the movement!
